Welcome to Horizon

Alcohol, Drugs and Sexual Health Support

Helping you live a life worth living.

The Horizon service is funded by Blackpool Council to provide a wide range of support for all Blackpool residents. We offer information, health screening, treatment and counselling... all confidential and free. We can help you reduce your dependence on alcohol and drugs or, if you are committed to stopping drinking or using drugs, we can support you on your journey to recovery.

We offer sexual health services, confidential advice, HIV and blood bourne virus screening, STI screening, harm reduction and free condoms, all from our Drop-in centre on Dickson Road. We also support the LGB&T community across Blackpool from our Dickson Rd building and offer a safe and friendly environment for all to access advice, treatment and social events.

Horizon offers a no barrier to treatment service, so you can contact us personally by phone (01253 205156), or by calling into Dickson Rd. You can even contact us via Facebook or Twitter. There is no need to wait for a medical professional to refer you for treatment.

PLEASE NOTE: If you're under 25 refer to our Hub section for more information.
